This is the last in a series of 4 PDF-format tutorials giving instructions for creating polymer clay tiles using 5 different surface techniques using rubber stamps.
These two related techniques began when I discovered a very interesting property with the Jacquard Lumiere Halo paints. I love the effect of softly blended watercolours and this is the effect you get. There are a lot of variations possible with this technique. I had a lot of fun experimenting with this one!
A tile consists of 3 layers – the decorative 1st layer and the back layers 2 and 3, which provide the channel for the cording. The tutorial is sold as 2 PDF documents – the first is “The Basics” document which details the tile construction portion (layers 2 & 3) as well as extras such as “Creating a trim”, “Creating an Inverse texture sheet” and “Sample Tile Templates”. The second document covers the surface technique (layer 1). Together the 2 documents total 15 pages and 36 images at a cost of $5.50 CAD.
